LOCAL HISTORY
There are a number of good local history websites available. Among our favourites are:
Maintained by Ian Beach, this includes a tremendous amount of material about the old parish of Sedgley, its buildings and people. It is regularly up-dated and is one of our favourites.
Another good site belongs to the Sedgley Local History Society and this can be accessed at:

For anyone interested in the history of the old Sedgley Park school then all the information you are likely to need can be found at:
Amblecote was once the smallest Urban District in the country. Now it is just a very small part of Dudley Metropolitan Borough - but that still hasn’t stopped it having a very good site about its history at:
